Long established and run by a strong, experienced management team, Birmingham Specialities has built its reputation on both quality of service and technical expertise.

A continuous investment programme has brought the benefits of new and evolving technologies, including:

  • In-house tooling design and production, aided by CAD/CAM, EDM and other technological advances, which enables us to design, manufacture, and maintain customers' tooling to achieve optimum performance.

  • A bespoke manufacturing control system ensuring effective capacity planning to achieve on time delivery.
  • Modern presses up to 125 tonnes capacity and the latest CNC machining plant.
  • All areas supported by a range of ancillary equipment including nut and stud insertion, drilling and tapping, riveting, brazing, and spot welding.
  • A variety of finishing and sub-assembly facilities.
  • Accreditation to BS EN ISO 9001-2008, with stringent quality procedures that include APQP, Lean & Six Sigma, FMEA and SPC, with quality measurement to PPAP and ISIR standards.
